Holy Water
När Sportstern rullades in i verkstaden i höstas hade den ett vansinnigt aphäng, tafflig sissy och var i ett allmänt färdig-för-rehab-skick. Med andra ord ett perfekt objekt att bygga på. Sextiotalsstuket växte fram efter hand som delarna kom på plats: Stelhäck, smal tank och tidsenliga däck. Framgaffeln från en gammal Ironhead gjorde alla nöjda. Mycket tid lades ner på motorn, kapning av drev- och kamkåpa, slipning och polering. Den turkosa flakelacken lades av Pete i Götlaborg.

Lot To Do!!
Mycket att göra!! Mars och April! har man inte mycket att göra då i denna bransch så kanske man skall fundera!! alla skall ha till påsk och ingen kom i oktober!!!
Vad gör vi? Massa fix på massa bågar, Vi bygger en 60-style sporsterchopper, bobber, några cafésporsters, bratstyle Triumph. Hinner inte med att ta bilder men skall skärpa oss. Det är mycke nu men kul. Samtidigt fixar vi till i våra lokaler för att det skall kännas lite nytt när ni kommer och besöker oss framöver.

THE ONE MOTORCYCLE SHOW ROUNDUP

The One Motorcycle Show has officially blown-up. Hat tip to Thor Drake & crew at See See Motorcycles for putting on an unforgettable event, and forging a community of passionate and fun-loving riders, builders & fans that now call The 1 Moto home. It was definitely an eclectic mix of personalities and styles that made for an epic display of jaw-dropping machines. Big name custom-build powerhouses cozied-up next to local bikes and newcomers. Young and old stood shoulder to shoulder without a dissenting word towards old farts or hipsters alike. In fact, there were more smiling faces and open hearts than you could shake a chain at, as everyone pulled together without nary a grumble and gave the crowd a show they won’t soon forget– I know I won’t. The talented Scott Toepfer was official bike photographer, and Ray Gordon’s THROTTLED II exhibit raised the rafters off Sandbox Studio.
I dare say– How the HELL are you gonna top this one, Thor!?
